Website Live!

I have finally posted my website. You can visit me at http://www.hadenhudson.com/. It's simple and easy to use, providing a little more information about me and links to the retailers that sell my books. I am still waiting on posting pictures of myself until after I come back from my trip, which was originally supposed to be New Orleans, but instead will be a cruise. Though I am sad I won't get to see my favorite city, I can't say I'm too bumbed about going to the caribbean:)

I have finished writing the second Ghostly Love story and will be editing it now. Being a self-published author I do most of it myself (except for the covers which my hubby is wonderful enough to create for me) and have to go over everything several times before I am happy that my readers with have the best quality book I can create. I will post the title in the next few weeks and the release date closer to that time.

New Orleans here I come!

I am so excited! Next month I'll be going to New Orleans for a few days and I can't hardly wait for two reasons. Number one, it is my favorite place to visit. Number two, picture opportunities.

As I have said I am working on my website. It is actually finished and is now being reviewed by a very honest audience, ie. best friends and family.

First critisism is the fact that there are no pictures of me anywhere on it. Sadly I have very few pictures of myself anywhere, I just don't really ever get my picture taken. So next month my hubby will take them of me in the French Quarter. As soon as I have them I will post them on the website.

Now back to work on book two of the Ghostly Love series. Have a great week!

I have finally published my short story on smashwords.com, and the best part of all, It's free! It is the first of the Ghostly Love series, though I am not sure if the others will be short stories. I'm currently working on my very own website! I am so excited. I will place an update here when it is finally up and running.

April 5th I'll be publishing my short story Souly Yours on smashwords.com, which in turn will make it available on Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Sony, Apple and Diesel e-readers. In the meantime you may still purchase it from Amazon.com.

Last but not least, check out my hubby at the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving facility in North Carolina. He loved it! I took him there for his birthday this week and posted the video on my Facebook page.

Weekly update...

I decided to come out of my writing hole to give a weekly update.

On April 5th I'll be publishing my short story, Souly Yours on Smashwords.com! This is the first of the Ghostly Love stories, which as far as my plans are now, they will be short and sweet and easy to read. Sometimes you just need something with a little less commitment  (for both time and wallet) than a long novel, and I'm hoping these little books will accomplish that.

I just started writing my sixth book, which I am very excited about! I was going to hold off on it so that I could continue to promote my recently published novel, Letters from the Vieux Carre, but it's a little tough when your characters demand their stories be told:)
